Stopped at the Greyhound for a quick rest during a circular walk from Maiden Newton. Beautiful location and a great looking, well furnished pub. Good beer. Will definitely return for lunch soon.
What a great hotel, everything was just absolutely perfect! Even the owner was really nice! It was like walking into my own little flat minus a kitchen! It had a lovely warm welcoming lounge and very stylish modern bath with the deepest bath iv ever laid in and then bedroom was lovely and warm with a very comfy bed! I will definitely be coming back! I didn't take any picture but did take a video to show my partner as was staying here for work!
Popped in with no booking, and they managed to squeeze us in. A homely feel and a real fire created a lovely atmosphere. The food was amazing. The car park is very tight and not huge, so take care and turn the car ready to leave if you have the space when you arrive! I will definitely return...
Just returned from a night at the Greyhound inn. We're greated by very friendly staff who worked there socks off to make sure everyone was looked after. The evening meal was very nice and reasonably priced. Our room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was also very good. I would definitely recommend this lovely pub and the great staff that work there.
We met friends here today for lunch, on their recommendation. Absolutely delicious food, beautifully cooked and served, excellent value for money and lovely, friendly staff. My new favourite place, especially as it's only 10 minutes away!

Second visit and it did not disappoint. Fish & chips for lunch just delicious batter not over powering and very thick fish and so tender. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Drive by if you dare or just pop in and treat yourself.

Had a lovely stay here with my groomsmen the night before my wedding. Rooms were in great condition, staff were very friendly and the pub itself was great.
The food was excellent but we were a party of 9 and had pre-ordered our meal choices but still waited 45 minutes for our food to be served. But as I said once it came it was first class. We weren't staying. Just going for a celebration meal.
